In Mesa, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Arizona vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 6 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Affordable Mobile Mechanic at (602) 698-2987; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 230 reviews, which is a strong result for a mechanic in Mesa and suggests consistent service.

Mike did the oil change in my car last year, had my own oil and filter (I'm very particular with it) and he was quick! Needed one again and was having A/C problems, and I was about to take it to a shop but called in to see if he can fix the issue. Oil change and A/C service (crumbling O-rings and recharge) done in an hour. Top-notch service! I drive a Miata and I usually do my own maintenance and repairs but wasn't able to bring my tools with me. His prices are great and with friendly and thorough service, you can't go wrong. 👍

WOW!!! Talk about fast service and fair pricing,! Michael at Affordable Mobile Mechanic was awesome. He had my battery replaced in less than 20 minutes! I've never used a mobile mechanic before, and if I ever have to again I will be calling this company. It was 6:15 pm when I started to look for help and Affordable Mobile Mechanic was the first one that came up on Google with a 4.9 rating. After I received my quote at 6:34 I knew that I didn't have to look any further. By 7:40 pm everything was complete and Michael was on his way. BTW...he also checked other components and gave me the thumbs up that all was good. I can't say enough good things about the service that I received!!!

Just incredible. Mike is in my opinion the Peoples Mobile Mechanic Champ. He provided quick A1 communication & PRICE with a solid break down on the invoice/quote and time frame when he could arrive. Top shelf professional job he performed. 100 percent affordable no doubt!

How my heart sunk when these lights came on to my only means of transportation. Michael came out the next morning and took a look and had my issue fixed and my baby ready to ride again in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and friendly from the time I first called him until the end of service. And honestly, prices can’t be beat either. I definitely recommend for anyone needing a mobile mechanic and will be using him for any of my trucks needs.

I got brakes done at Pep Boys this past June and already needed to replace brakes and rotors. That was a waste of my time and money. It took them all damn day to do it. And my car had this sound when I backed up. Two weeks later that Pep Boys was gone. 🤦🏽♀️ Fast forward to now, I called sooooo many mechanics and most didn’t even bother to answer the phone. I was worried about the pricing because just for the rear some were saying $500-$700. Michael answered and he was great. He gave me his pricing, which it really was affordable I want to add. I wasn’t harassed (which typically the mechanics do act creepy). Added bonus! So ladies you can be assured he won’t try to pull one over on you or try to overcharge you. This guy is honest. Not only is he honest but he did my rear brakes and rotors in like 15/20 minutes. My car rides so smooth now and it’s quiet. My neighbors won’t be staring at me when I pull in now. I’m like a ninja coming home now. Whatever messed up job Pep Boys did, Michael fixed it. I appreciate it too! THIS IS THE MECHANIC FOR ME. I’ll forever stay in Mesa, just so this guy will continue to be my mechanic. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
